CompComp is in beta. These terms describe how the service may be used while it is being developed.
Beta service
Features, methodology versions and results may change. The service is provided without a guaranteed availability level during the beta.
Acceptable use
Only analyse public web content you are permitted to review. Do not use CompComp to attack, overload or circumvent access controls on any site. We apply crawl budgets, and we may block domains that are reported as abusive or unsafe.
Results and evidence
CompComp reports what it could observe in the analysed scope. Assessments are navigation aids, not statements of fact about a company. Unknown means insufficient evidence, not a weakness. A company's own marketing page evidences what that company states, not that the claim is independently verified.
Your content
You keep ownership of the comparisons and notes you create. You are responsible for what you share through a share link.
Payment
No payment is taken in this beta. Plan and usage fields exist in the product so limits can be shown, but there is no checkout, subscription or billing processing.
Responsible entity
The legal entity and contact address for CompComp have not been published yet. They will be added here before general availability; nothing is stated until it is confirmed.
